The movies live up to the books
Usually, I'm disappointed when I see a movie made from a fantasy book I read - especially if I loved the books.
In this case, however, the movies possibly surpass the pleasure I had many years ago when I first read the Tolkien books.
I've watched each of these movies several times and they continue to hold my interest.
Highly recommended and one of my personal favorites.
